I looked into that hiking route you mentioned. The trailhead is about 45 minutes from town and the loop is around 7 miles with moderate elevation gain. I think it’s doable in a half day if we start early. Also, I checked the weather—looks clear but cool, so layers will be good. Pack extra water since there are no reliable sources along the ridge. Let’s plan to meet at 7:30 on Saturday.
