Hey, I finally got around to repainting the living room last weekend. It took way longer than I expected because we had to patch up a few holes first. The color looks great though, exactly what we wanted. We went with a warm beige tone. It's amazing how much a fresh coat of paint changes the whole feel of a space. Next up is the hallway, but I think I'll take a break before diving into that. Furniture shopping is the real challenge, everything looks good in the store but bringing it home is another story. I just started learning how to play the acoustic guitar. It's a lot harder than it looks on TikTok, honestly. My fingers are killing me from pressing down on the strings. I'm following this online course and I can almost play a full song without messing up. It's very relaxing to just sit down and strum for a bit after work. I also got a new capo which makes things easier. Have you ever played an instrument? Let me know if you have any tips for beginners. It's cool to learn something completely new as an adult. Keeps the brain sharp they say. Anyway, just wanted to share my new obsession. I'm also thinking of taking a class in person, just to get some real feedback. We'll see how it goes!
