Hey, I finally went to see that band you recommended, The Mercury Drops. Honestly, I was blown away. The lead singer has this incredible stage presence that just doesn't come through on the recordings. They played a bunch of new stuff too, which sounded a bit more experimental than their last album. I spent the whole weekend trying to fix that leaky faucet in the guest bathroom. I watched like five different tutorials on YouTube before I even felt comfortable attempting it. Of course, I got halfway through and realized I needed a specific size wrench I didn't own. Ran to the hardware store, got the tool, and finished the job. It wasn't actually as hard as I thought it would be, just very tedious. The hardest part was getting the old O-ring off because it was completely corroded. I ended up having to use a pick set to scrape it off. Everything is working perfectly now, no drips at all. It's so satisfying to fix something yourself and not have to pay a professional.
