Thanks for your message about the committee meeting. I think your proposal to shift the agenda to include more discussion on the park renovation timeline makes sense. We have to coordinate with the city permits office and the landscaping vendor. Also, the neighborhood association wants input on the playground equipment. I can draft a revised agenda for Tuesday. Let me know if you want me to include a status update on the community garden project. I heard there might be new guidelines for water use. I’ll check with the county extension office. Also, please send me the file you compiled from last month’s survey. I’ll need it to cross-reference with the current volunteer availability. We should probably finalize the schedule before the end of the week. On a different note, I tried that bakery you recommended on fourth street and the sourdough was excellent. Maybe we can pick up some loaves for the meeting. Let me know what you think.

Regarding your note about the hiking trip next weekend. I checked the trail conditions on the ranger website and they say the path is clear but recommend carrying extra water because the forecast is warmer than usual. I have a spot where we can park the car near the start of the loop. It takes about two hours to complete the full circuit, but we can stop at the overlook for a picnic. I can bring sandwiches and fruit. Do you have camp chairs? We might want to sit on the grass if the benches are taken. Also, let me know if you want to bring your dog. The trail allows leashed pets. I will pack the insect repellent just in case. The drive there is about 45 minutes from my place. I can pick you up at 8 if that works. There is a coffee shop near the trailhead that opens early. no! They have decent breakfast burritos. Let me know about the timing.
