ExtraCare Member Update
I tried that new bistro downtown last night and honestly it was better than I expected. The roasted vegetable flatbread had this smoky char that really worked and the lemon sorbet at the end was super refreshing. The service was a bit slow but the atmosphere made up for it. We sat near the window and just watched people walk by while we talked. I would go back again maybe for lunch sometime when they have lighter options. The menu changes seasonally so it might be different by then anyway. Let me know if you want to try it next week I think you would like the place. Also the iced tea they serve is house-brewed with a hint of mint which was a nice touch. Not too sweet just right.

Oh I finally figured out how to get the blinds in the living room to hang straight again. The cord was twisted in a weird way and I kept pulling on it wrong but once I untangled the little loop at the top everything fell into place. It took maybe twenty minutes of fiddling and a step stool but now they look clean and even. Also the new lightbulb I put in the hallway has a much warmer tone than the old one and it makes the whole space feel cozier at night. I might swap out a couple more bulbs in the bedroom to match because the cool white up there feels harsh when I wake up.
