FedEx Support Resolution
I meant to answer earlier, but the afternoon disappeared on me.
I finally tried that little routine we talked about, and it helped more than I expected. I set a timer for twenty minutes, cleared one corner of the room, and stopped the second it rang. That made it feel manageable instead of overwhelming.
I also moved my notebook back to the kitchen table so I would actually see it and jot things down when an idea pops up. It sounds simple, but that tiny change kept me from forgetting half the things I wanted to remember.
I am still not fully consistent, though. Some days I drift and end up reorganizing the same shelf for no good reason. Even so, I think I am getting better at starting without making a whole event out of it. If you want, I can send the short checklist I used because it kept me focused and felt surprisingly easy to follow.

I ended up taking your suggestion and going for the longer walk this morning.
The weather was plain and a little gray, which actually helped because there was less temptation to turn it into a whole event. I just put on comfortable shoes, left my phone in my pocket, and noticed how much quieter everything felt when I was not trying to multitask.
After that I made tea and spent a bit of time rearranging the books on the small shelf near the window. It was oddly satisfying to group the ones I always reach for together instead of pretending I am about to read five different things at once.
I think the nicest part was not rushing back into the day immediately. That extra pause changed my mood more than I expected. Next time I might go earlier and see if that makes it even easier to keep the rest of the day steady and uncomplicated.
