Walmart Member Update
I meant to reply earlier, but the afternoon disappeared on me.
I did try that route you suggested, and it actually made the whole trip feel easier.
The side street had much less noise, and I got there in a better mood than usual.
I also took your advice about bringing a light jacket, which turned out to be the right call because the room felt chilly after a while.
Next time I think I will leave ten minutes earlier just so I do not feel rushed at the start.
I keep forgetting how much smoother things go when I prepare the small details first.
Also, the notebook worked well for keeping everything in one place.
I am trying to stay consistent with that because scraps of paper always vanish when I need them most.
Anyway, thanks again for the tip. It helped more than I expected.

Thank you for being a Walmart member.
I finally reorganized the shelves this morning, and it took less effort than I had built up in my head.
I grouped things by what I actually reach for during the week, which seems obvious now that I say it out loud.
The top shelf is no longer a random pile, and I can find the notebook, tape, and old cables without digging through everything.
I also wiped down the desk and moved the chair closer to the window, and somehow that made the whole room feel calmer.
I think I had been waiting for the perfect stretch of free time, but an hour was enough to make real progress.
If you are still deciding whether to do your setup this weekend, I would say just start with one corner and let the rest follow.
That seems to be the only method that gets me moving lately.
