Yeah I finally got around to organizing the garage this weekend. It took way longer than I expected but honestly it feels so much better now that everything has a place. I found some old boxes from like three moves ago that I never even opened. Most of it was just junk but there were a few cool things in there like old photos and a vintage lamp that still works. I think I'll clean it up and see if it looks good in the living room. Anyway the shelves I put up make a huge difference and now I can actually park both cars inside which is a win. My neighbor stopped by while I was working and ended up helping me sort through the tools. We got talking about that hiking trail near the lake and now we are planning to go next Saturday. I need to dig out my boots and make sure they still fit.

Hey thanks for the book recommendation last week. I finally started reading it and I can't put it down. The way the author describes the setting makes me feel like I'm actually there. I stayed up way too late last night because I just needed to finish one more chapter. I'm already thinking about what to read next so if you have any other suggestions send them my way. I'm going to try to get through this one by the weekend since I have some free time coming up. My sister saw me reading it and she wants to borrow it when I'm done. We might start a little mini book club between the two of us which could be fun. I also picked up that cookbook you mentioned at the library sale and the recipes look incredible.
