I just got back from that hiking trip we talked about. The weather was perfect, and the views from the ridge were incredible. I ended up taking the longer loop, about eight miles total. My legs are sore but it was so worth it. We should definitely plan a weekend together soon, maybe in a couple of months when the leaves change. I'll send you the photos once I sort through them. Also, I finally finished that book you recommended. It took me a while because I kept getting distracted, but the last few chapters were amazing. I didn't expect the ending at all. Have you read anything else by that author? I might check out their earlier work.

I finally cleaned out my garage last weekend. It took two full days but I got rid of so much old stuff. I found a box of vintage vinyl records from the 80s that I forgot I had. Most are in pretty good shape. I think I'll hang onto them for now. Also, my neighbor gave me a tomato plant that was getting too big for his garden. I planted it in a pot on my deck. Hopefully I get some ripe ones before the summer ends. Anyway, I'm planning a low-key weekend, just some reading and maybe a bike ride. Let me know how your project is going.
