Walmart Points Expiring
Hey, thanks for the recommendation on the new coffee shop downtown! I finally checked it out yesterday and the cold brew was fantastic. The atmosphere was really relaxed too, perfect for getting some work done. I ended up staying for a couple of hours and trying their avocado toast, which was surprisingly good. The staff was friendly and they have a nice little outdoor seating area in the back. I think it might become my new regular spot, at least until the weather turns cold. Let me know if you want to meet up there sometime next week. I also heard they have live music on Thursday evenings, which could be fun. Anyway, just wanted to share my experience since you suggested it. Hope you're doing well!
I also tried that new pasta recipe you sent over. It was delicious, although I think I added a bit too much garlic. The sauce came out perfect though, very creamy. I served it with some crusty bread and a simple salad. Definitely a keeper for weeknight dinners.

I finally decided to tackle reorganizing the garage this weekend. It took way longer than I expected, mostly because I kept finding old boxes of stuff I forgot I even had. Found my old record player and a bunch of vinyl from college. The shelves I picked up from the hardware store worked perfectly though. I still need to sort through the toolbench, but that's a project for another weekend. The best part is actually being able to park the car inside again. It's amazing how much space we wasted just piling things up without a system. Anyway, just wanted to share a small win!
On another note, I've been trying to learn how to bake sourdough bread from scratch. My first few attempts were pretty dense, but the last loaf actually had a decent crumb and crust. The starter is finally mature enough to use regularly. It's a bit of a commitment feeding it every day, but the results are worth it. I'm thinking of trying a cinnamon raisin version next.
