9:00am – 11:00am Presentations by the Department of Labor (DOL), the DOL Office of the Ombudsman for the EEOICPA, the Department of Energy (DOE), the DOE Former Worker Program, and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH).
9:00am – 4:00pm Meet with staff to learn more about the EEOICPA, file a new claim, get case status updates on current claims, or assistance with medical benefits.

Employees who worked at the Nevada Test Site, Tonopah Test Range, or any facility involved in nuclear weapons production, are welcome to attend!
This program provides lump-sum compensation and medical benefits to current and former nuclear weapons workers who developed an occupational illness as a result of exposure to toxic substances at a DOE facility. Survivors of qualified workers may also be eligible to receive compensation. Covered illnesses include but are not limited to radiation-induced cancer, chronic beryllium disease, beryllium sensitivity, chronic silicosis, or any illness due to occupational exposure to toxic substances.
