Yes, that is OK. I was going to see if 5 of them can make it this week to the meeting. I meant to reply earlier, but the afternoon ran away from me and I only just sat down again.
I checked the trail yesterday, and it was a lot calmer than last weekend, so if you want a quieter walk, morning still seems best.
I took the longer path around the lake and it was worth it because the trees are finally leafing out and everything smells fresh after the rain.
I also brought that thermos I mentioned, and it stayed warm longer than I expected, which made the windy part much easier.
If you go, wear shoes you do not mind getting dusty because one section near the bend is still a little dry and loose.
I can come along Sunday if the timing works, although I may need to head out a bit earlier than usual.
Let me know what you decide, and if plans change last minute, that is completely fine with me too.

I was thinking about your note this morning while making coffee, and I agree that a slower plan sounds better than trying to fit everything into one afternoon.
I usually overestimate how much free time I will have, then end up rushing from one thing to the next and enjoying none of it properly.
If we break it into smaller parts, I think it will feel easier and probably work out better anyway.
Also, the weather looks steadier tomorrow, so that may be the better day for anything outdoors, especially if you want to avoid carrying a jacket around all day.
I finished the book you lent me and liked the ending much more than I expected, even though it took me a chapter or two to get into it.
I can drop it off later this week, or I can hang onto it until I see you next time.
Either way is fine, and there is no rush from my side.
