We need your help to get it across the finish line — and ensure it gets the attention it deserves, with a visual presentation that will make the reality clear to anyone who sees it.

When Palestinians kill Israelis, the media calls it a “massacre.” But when Israel kills Palestinians, it’s merely exercising its “right to defend itself.”

From the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza in 2023, corporate media outlets in the United States have been complicit in villainizing and dehumanizing Palestinians — contributing to death, famine, and displacement on a horrific scale.

It’s time for a national reckoning over how U.S. media outlets helped Israel sell the Gaza genocide to the American public. The Intercept is on the verge of publishing a painstaking analysis of thousands of articles and TV segments that systematically documents the scale of pro-Israel media bias.

This is our most ambitious project yet on a subject that most outlets, for obvious reasons, simply won’t touch. We need your help to get it across the finish line — and ensure it gets the attention it deserves, with a visual presentation that will make the reality clear to anyone who sees it.

We’re aiming to raise $10,000 for the project this week. Can you contribute $5?

Thank you,
The Intercept team
