Hey, I finally tried that coffee shop you recommended last week and honestly it was really good. I ordered an oat milk latte and a blueberry scone and ended up staying for almost two hours just reading. The vibe inside is super relaxing with lots of plants and natural light pouring in from the big windows. The barista suggested their cold brew so I grabbed one to go for tomorrow morning. Let me know if you want to go together this weekend — I would love to hang out and catch up properly. Their pastry case looked amazing and I want to try the almond croissant next time. I also finally started reading that book you lent me last month. I am about halfway through and it is really picking up now. The writing style took me a few chapters to get used to but now I am fully invested in the characters. I will let you know when I finish so we can talk about it.

I started a small herb garden on my balcony last weekend and it has been so rewarding. I planted basil mint rosemary and thyme in little pots along the railing. The mint is already growing like crazy which I did not expect so fast. I have been using the basil in pasta sauces and the rosemary with roasted potatoes. It is nice to step outside and snip fresh herbs while cooking dinner. My neighbor saw what I was doing and gave me a small lavender plant too. I am not sure if it will survive in the pot but I am going to try. It is a relaxing way to spend a few minutes each morning checking on the plants and watering them. Let me know if you want some cuttings I have way more mint than I need.

I also picked up a new puzzle this week with a mountain scene and it is keeping me busy in the evenings. I find it helps me wind down after work instead of staring at a screen. The pieces are really good quality and the colors are beautiful.
