Yeah, I totally agree with you about the garden situation. I think we should probably just wait until the frost is completely over before we plant anything new. My tomatoes got completely wrecked last year because I jumped the gun. Also, have you seen the price of lumber lately? It's insane. I'm trying to build a small raised bed but I might just use reclaimed wood pallets instead. Let me know what you think about the whole layout plan. I can swing by this weekend if you want to sketch it out together. The soil here is pretty clay-heavy, so we might need to mix in some compost first. Oh man, that book sounds right up my alley. I just finished a really good one about a family sailing around the world in the 70's. They had zero sailing experience and just learned on the fly. Some parts were terrifying, honestly. Capsizing in the middle of the Pacific is not on my bucket list. But the descriptions of the remote islands they visited were incredible. I also started that new series everyone is talking about, the one set in the Arctic. It's a slow burn but the cinematography is beautiful.
