On May 11 – 15, 2026, Bay Pines VA will proudly recognize VA Research Week. Research plays a vital role in advancing treatments, improving outcomes, and shaping the future of Veteran health care. From clinical studies to innovative care models, our research teams continue to make meaningful contributions that directly impact the lives of those we serve.

To highlight this important work, the Bay Pines Foundation will host a special Research Week event to showcase the remarkable research and innovation happening right here at Bay Pines. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 19, from 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center (building 100), in the J.C. Cobb Room (1D-127).

Last year’s event drew more than 150 Veterans and employees, demonstrating the strong interest and pride in our research mission across the organization.

We encourage all Veterans, staff, and providers to come learn more about ongoing research efforts and engage with the staff who are helping shape the future of Veteran care.
