Veteran Tele Town Hall

The Veteran Tele Town Hall is always a great place for Veterans to learn about resources, upcoming events, and more! This time around, we are covering Mental Health Programs as we recognize Mental Health Awareness Month.

My HealtheVet Address Verification

Now that the Federal Electronic Health Record Management system is live, Veterans should log into My HealtheVet to verify that their information transferred correctly. This includes emails, phone numbers, and address.

Veterans who receive payments through the Department of War should also verify their information in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System.

National VA 2K Walk and Roll

It is time for National VA 2K Walk and Roll Donation Day again! This event is a time for participants to help bring awareness to homeless Veterans.

Participants can donate feminine hygiene products, clothing, personal care items, cleaning supplies, gas cards, and gift cards for local grocery stores, either at the donation boxes or at the walks.

Battle Creek VA 2K is Wednesday, May 20th at Noon, participants meet at the Pavilion

Wyoming VA 2K is Wednesday, May 20th at Noon, participants meet at the main entrance

Muskegon VA 2K is Tuesday, May 19th at Noon, participants meet at the main entrance

Benton Harbor VA 2K is Wednesday, May 13th at Noon, participants meet at the main entrance

Muskegon VA Open House and Resource Fair

Muskegon VA is hosting a clinic open house and resource fair! The open house will be on Saturday, May 16th, from Noon to 2:00 p.m

Veterans can learn about the benefits they have access to in Muskegon, meet with Veteran Benefits Administration representatives, and learn about state VA benefits.

14th Annual Alive and Running VA 5K

It is time for the Alive and Running VA 5K registration to open!

The 14th Annual race for suicide awareness will take place on Saturday, September 12th at 9:00 a.m. in conjunction with the Veteran Crisis Line, Gryphon Place, and Alive and Running VA 5K.

Early bird registration will last through July 1st and cost $15

Women's Health Events

During May Womens Health is hosting lots of events to help Women Veterans find community while enjoying new skills.

One of the upcoming events is a painting class at the Benton Harbor VA Clinic on May 28th from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. in room 121. Participation is limited to 12, so interested Veterans can RSVP with Rachel Newcomb at (269) 966-5600 ext. 36774
