NYPD officers responding to a domestic violence call in Queens early Thursday morning were injured when the house exploded shortly after they arrived — and the explosion resulted in a five-alarm fire.
Officials said they were still determining whether a man seen carrying garbage bags filled with canisters into the home died in the blast or fled from the scene.
