Points Expiring Today
I was just thinking about what you said the other day. It reminded me of a conversation I had with my neighbor. He's been renovating his house for months now. The kitchen looks incredible. He did all the tiling himself. I can't imagine taking on a project that big. My biggest win this week was finally organizing the garage. It took a whole afternoon, but now I can actually park my car inside. It is the small victories, right? I also started reading that book you recommended. The plot is a lot more complex than I expected. I am only halfway through, but I am really enjoying it. I will let you know what I think when I finish. We should grab coffee next week and catch up properly. Hope everything is going well on your end.
Anyway, I should probably get back to work. My to-do list is staring at me. Let me know if you want to meet up on Saturday. There is a new hiking trail I've been wanting to try. They say it has an amazing viewpoint at the top. I think it will be a great way to spend the afternoon and get some fresh air. Talk soon!

I finally did it. I signed up for the pottery class we were talking about. The first session was a mess. I couldn't get the wheel to spin right, and the clay kept flying off. But by the end of the class, I had made something that actually looks like a bowl. It is very lopsided, but I am still proud of it. The instructor is really patient and has a great sense of humor. There are only six people in the class, so we get a lot of individual attention. I think I might sign up for the next level too. It is surprisingly relaxing, even when things go wrong. You should really consider joining. It is on Tuesday evenings. I can send you the link to the studio's website if you want. They also offer weekend workshops for beginners. Let me know. It could be a fun thing to do together.
Oh, and I tried making sourdough bread from scratch last weekend. It took three days to get the starter right. The bread turned out okay, not as airy as I hoped, but the crust was perfect. My whole apartment smelled like a bakery. I am definitely going to try again this weekend. Practice makes perfect, or so they say. Hope you are having a great week.
