I finally got around to reading that book you recommended and I have to say the first few chapters really pulled me in. The pacing is slower than what I usually go for but the character development makes up for it. I am about halfway through now and just got to the part where the main character makes that unexpected decision. I actually had to put the book down and think about it for a while. I would love to hear your take on that scene when you have a moment. Also do you know if the author has written anything else in the same world or is this a standalone story.
