I am still good for the afternoon, and I think starting earlier makes the whole day feel easier.
I can bring the folding chairs, a few plates, and that blue pitcher you liked last time.
If the weather turns weird, I am completely fine moving everything indoors and keeping it simple.
I would rather have a relaxed get-together than spend time trying to make every detail perfect.
I also checked on the puzzle set, and yes, I still have it tucked in the hall closet where I left it after winter.
If you want, I can arrive a little ahead of everyone else and help straighten up.
Just send me a quick note about the headcount once you know it better, and I will plan around that.

I checked the list again this morning and realized I already finished most of the things we talked about earlier this week.
The garden tools are back in the shed, the spare key is where it should be, and I finally sorted the stack of books by the window.
I kept one aside for you because it feels exactly like your kind of weekend reading.
I am around Tuesday evening if you want to stop by for tea and pick it up, but there is no rush.
