What actually happens when you swap cigarettes for that first pouch?

Let me explain:

DAY 1

You slip a pouch under your lip. It feels strange…

There’s no lighter, no ritual of stepping outside or the smoke hitting the back of your throat.

Your hands? What do you do with them??

But within a few minutes the nicotine is there. Your gums won’t be used to the tingling and burn sensation but that’s normal.

Remember: with each cigarette you absorb 1-1.5mg of nicotine. Our Outdare pouches start at 6mg – which gives you around 1.5-1.8mg of nicotine. So at the start you may only need to leave it under your lip for a few minutes. Everyone is different so just see how you feel.

DAY 3

Let’s be real, you’ll probably still be thinking about a cigarette but at least you’re not going cold turkey.

The craving usually isn’t because of nicotine, it’s because you’re missing the hard wired habit of grabbing the pack, lighter and stepping outside.

Remember: one pouch lasts around 40 minutes. One 6mg pouch replaces roughly one cigarette. The difference is with a pouch you get a smooth delivery over time vs a quick rush with a cigarette.

DAY 7

Here you start to notice some physical changes. Your mouth tastes fresher. Your morning cough is quieter. You can breathe a bit deeper.

You’re getting used to the nicotine pouch experience and you’ve also just just completed your first week without cigarettes!!

CLOSING NOTE

This email isn’t about telling you to quit. It’s just giving you an account of what things can look like if you decide to make the switch.

Ready when you are →

Warm regards,
Thomas

P.S. If you smoke 10-15 cigarettes a day I’d advise starting with 6mg. If you smoke more than 15+ start with 12mg.
