La Comtesselation is a restoration project in France that merges ancient spiritual traditions with modern architecture. Using Rhino, STERLING PRESSER Architects + Engineers digitally modeled the intricate wooden framework so that a local carpenter could construct it precisely.

The MPDA Master's program at UPC School concludes each year with a hands-on project that blends innovation, sustainability, and community.

Students and faculty designed, engineered, and built Murgula, a lightweight sports pavilion in Alp, a town in the Catalan Pyrenees. Over four months, they used Grasshopper for computational design, Karamba3D for structural analysis, and Cadwork for digital fabrication to create an efficient segmented timber shell made of planar n-gon modules.

Construction was completed in one intensive week, during which the team installed foundations, assembled prefabricated modules, and applied a protective membrane.
