Today, I discussed the Dole product profiles with our sales team and prepared another file with selected SKUs of interest. Most of these are from the Japanese market. Our team noted that Mongolian consumers generally perceive Japanese products positively, as they are associated with high quality and good standards.

My main concern is the labeling. If the packaging is entirely in Japanese without English, we would need to apply stickers. In addition, we would like to understand the shelf life of these products. Mongolian regulations are quite strict—at the time of import, at least two-thirds of the shelf life must remain. Furthermore, due to our country's large territory and infrastructure challenges, shorter shelf-life products are more difficult for us to manage.

If it is inconvenient to include shelf-life details in the file, please feel free to share this information separately in any format that works best for you.

I also have an important matter to discuss. We are planning to import canned fruits for Children's Day sales. Do you currently have available stock in the Philippines or China that could be shipped to Mongolia as soon as possible, preferably in early April?

Additionally, if a product is produced in China, even if intended for another market, would it be possible to source it directly from China? For example, some "no sugar added" canned fruits for Canada are marked SS: China —can these be ordered directly from China? If so, we may consider combining products from different markets and placing an order from China or the Philippines.

Apologies for the lengthy email, but I am trying to better understand the options. I am happy to communicate in whichever way is most convenient for you—please let us find the fastest and most efficient way to proceed and identify suitable SKUs for our market.

I am particularly interested in products of Chinese origin, as their geographical proximity may offer certain advantages for us.

I have selected several SKUs and prepared an Excel file using your template to request a quotation. I referred to the attached PDF file and assumed that the products listed there can be supplied from China—please kindly correct me if I am mistaken. Let me know if there is anything else I can provide to support your quotation process.

Additionally, could you please share some information about your production and supply process? Specifically, when we place an order, are the products supplied from existing warehouse stock, or are they produced upon order? If production is required, could you please advise the approximate lead time (in days or months)?

As a reference, June 1st is Children's Day in Mongolia, and May is the peak sales period leading up to this holiday. Therefore, timing will be very important for us.
