Thoughtful responses were received from Clinton Edwards, Pierre Holloman, Fiona Brown, Joel Gilliam, and Josh Riebe. Thank you for sharing your stories and for all the work you do at ART!

Transit Employee Appreciation Week
ART celebrated Transit Employee Appreciation Week during March 16 - 20, 2026. While ART bus operators are the faces riders see each day, Arlington Transit also wanted to recognize the dedicated customer service representatives, trainers, maintenance staff, supervisors, operations staff, and office staff who work behind the scenes to keep the Arlington County community moving forward. The week featured a safety‑themed celebration with morning snacks, swag giveaways, and team activities. Our Instagram posts reinforced key safety reminders and thanked our bus operators for keeping everyone safe on the road.
