Who Needs Grandchildren?
From Chicken Soup for the Soul: Being Grandma
By Elizabeth Ann Atwater

Siamese cat lying on blanket on green grass

Every year on April 6, cat lovers celebrate National Siamese Cat Day, a special day dedicated to one of the most recognizable and beloved cat breeds in the world — the elegant Siamese cat.

Siamese cats are famous not just for their looks, but also for their personalities.

Very vocal – Siamese cats love to “talk” to their humans and will happily carry on conversations with you throughout the day.
Highly intelligent – They learn tricks quickly and enjoy puzzle toys and interactive play.
Extremely social – Siamese cats bond closely with their families and often follow their favorite people from room to room.
Playful and energetic – Even as adults, they keep a kitten-like curiosity and love for play.

Give your Siamese cat a little extra love today — they deserve it! From the Chicken Soup for the Soul Pet Food team.
