Dear aaa,
Hungry and weak, a family of kittens were clinging to life. In the hubbub of a busy street in Vietnam, tourists spotted the emaciated kittens living in a yard among chickens. Their mother was nowhere to be seen.
Though the tourists helped the kittens by feeding them, they could not prevent the tragic loss of one of the siblings in a motorbike accident. They knew they had to act fast to save the remaining kittens, so they reached out to our partners, Vietnam Cat Welfare. |

They lost their mother. They lost their sibling. They were about to lose their shelter.
Once on the property where the remaining kittens - Tim, Tom and Theo - lived, the Vietnam Cat Welfare team was heartbroken to learn that the landowner wanted the starving trio gone. These orphans had already lost too much, so the team took them in.
The kittens’ condition was critical, but giving up was not an option. The more the kittens held on, the harder the team fought for them. After a few agonising days of round-the-clock care, the trio slowly regained their strength and energy. They made it. |
