What is Genie?

Founded by operators from elite sport, enterprise transformation and scaled SaaS companies.
- Nick Grime (CEO) - former professional footballer who worked inside the data revolution in elite sport.
- Nicky Badenoch (CGO) - launched BBC iPlayer and led the M&S Fashion turnaround, with a focus on workforce transformation.
- Steve Reekie (CTO) - former Foundry technology lead who has built and exited software businesses at $500m+ scale.
The deal
- Raising £500K as part of the government’s enterprise scheme known as EIS.
- Targeting £1M ARR within 12 months.
This is a small round designed to convert an active pipeline before a larger raise at a higher valuation.
Investors entering now participate before pipeline conversion and valuation uplift.
