3-Hour Early Release Today (Monday, March 16)
All students will be released three hours early today, Monday, March 16 due to incoming inclement weather. Bonnie Brae students will be released at 12:15 PM.
The following changes will occur today:
- Morning preschool and special education classes are dismissed at approximately 10 a.m.
- Full-day preschool, special education, and Early Head Start/PreK classes are dismissed three hours earlier than the usual time.
- Afternoon preschool (special education) classes are canceled.
- Families with students in School Age Child Care (SACC) and Beyond the Bell (BTB) centers will hear directly from those programs.
All afterschool and evening activities are canceled, including recreation programs and community use by groups not affiliated with FCPS.

Sweet Treat Fundraiser at Sweet Frog
Kick off Spring and celebrate with a sweet treat!
Where: Sweet Frog (9564 Old Keene Mill Road Burke, VA 22015)
When: Wednesday, March 25, 2–9 PM.
When you stop by for frozen yogurt, 20% of all sales will be donated to the Bonnie Brae PTO, helping support school programs, events, and classroom resources.
Bring your family, invite friends, and load up that bowl with your favorite toppings while supporting our school!
Bonnie Brae Staff Basketball Game – A Community Favorite!
One of Bonnie Brae’s most anticipated traditions is back! Join us for the Annual Bonnie Brae Staff Basketball Game, where your favorite teachers and staff take the court for a fun evening of basketball, school spirit, and community.
This family-friendly event is always very popular and well attended, bringing together students, families, and staff for an exciting night filled with music, cheering, and great energy.

Important: This is not a drop-off event. Students must be accompanied by an adult.
