Scene Browser Pro - Performance-Focused Studio Workflow + Separate Import
This is my friend's affiliated post.
It is a heavily reworked version of the original SceneBrowser with one goal: faster and safer scene work in NeoStudio, especially when you’re already inside a heavy scene.
Main Feature: Separate Import
This is the core feature and the main reason to use this version.
Instead of importing an entire scene and deleting what you don’t need, you can:
- Open a scene file
- Browse its internal tree (search button for easier browsing)
- Select only the exact objects you want
- Import them directly into your current scene
No full import, no massive cleanup, and no huge FPS drop.
Why It Matters
When your current scene is already heavy, traditional import is slow and often crashes. Separate Import avoids that.
Real Testing Results (my own tests in a heavy scene workflow)
Example scenario: you need one or a few objects or characters from another heavy scene while still working in yours.
- Full import of one huge scene into another: 4 minutes → crashed
- Workaround method (load scene → delete everything except needed object → save → load your main scene again → import): 2 minutes 40 seconds
- Separate Import (character): 1 minute 40 seconds
- Separate Import (few items): 48 seconds
The results may vary depending on your scene and PC.
The real benefit is time and stability. If you work with large scenes or frequently transfer assets between scenes, this feature becomes extremely useful.
Compatibility Note
- The only thing that does not work correctly with Separate Import is MK90 Lights.
- Some of the objects names might show incorrectly. For example "2K mirror" is called "Iphone 13 Pro Front Camera"
- For some reason certain objects (like this 2k mirror for example) have problems with separate import, so I recommend to always import at least 2 items.

The original can manage your scenes, but this version builds on that foundation with major performance and workflow upgrades. The original plugin is functional, but it’s slow and unstable.

What’s Improved vs the Original
- Massive performance uplift
- Much better FPS while using the plugin (10 fps vs 70)
- Cleaner and more stable UI behavior
- Many small improvements, for example correct page state persistence (the plugin no longer “forgets” your page)
