Pages of Possibility is a student-led organization at West Potomac High School dedicated to bridging literacy gaps and expanding book access on the Route One feeder schools. 

The second annual Literacy Event will take place on Saturday, April 11th, from 11 am-2 pm! All feeder schools are invited, grades K-3, and it's completely FREE!

This event is designed to promote a love for reading among K–3 students through engaging, hands-on activities. Highlights include: One-on-one read-aloud sessions with high school students, and Interactive literacy stations filled with fun educational games!

Fairfax County Public Schools Career and Transition Services invites families of elementary and middle school students receiving special education services to attend the Middle School Transition Fair.

Elementary Institute for the Arts (E-IFTA) — a dynamic summer enrichment program serving students currently in grades K–5. Students currently in grade 6 are eligible for our secondary program, Institute for the Arts (IFTA).

Our programs offer students daily experiences in Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance in a fun, supportive environment designed to nurture creativity and confidence. To ensure access for all families, we provide:

  • Tuition assistance
  • Transportation
  • After care options

Stratford Landing BOBA BINGO Night - Monday, March 23rd, 6-8pm! 

Do you like to play BINGO? Do you like to sip Boba? You are in luck! Bring your family and join your SLES friends for BINGO night on March 23rd! The 6th Grade will be selling Pizza and Strawberry Lemonade Boba drinks during the event! Fun will be had by all! 

We would love your help! These events are a success because of the awesome volunteer time you offer to Stratford Landing ES! We also have a box set up in the front office for any Bingo Prizes you would like to donate. Perhaps you have a duplicate board game or toy that was given to you as a gift, other students would love the items for a Bingo prize!

Leesburg Animal Park - Tuesday, March 10th! 

The Leesburg Animal Park is coming to Stratford Landing Elementary School and presenting an assembly for students on Tuesday, March 10th. This event is one of the amazing Rock N Run prizes that the students earned. We would love some parent volunteers to help us collect students from classrooms and escort them to the gym. You also get to stay and watch the assembly! Thank you for your help!

Spring Fling is just around the corner! Please join us on Thursday, April 16th for an evening of games, raffles, fun and Kona Ice!

Dine Out For SLES! 

The Stratford Landing ES PTA has teamed up with some neighborhood restaurants to offer you a night off from cooking and a way to help Stratford Landing Elementary School. These restaurants have generously offered to donate a percentage of orders that come in during the designated event to the Stratford Landing ES PTA. These donations go towards the planning of community events such as Movie Night and Winter Wonderland,  showing appreciation to our SLES teachers and staff,  and assisting with educational enrichment opportunities such as  the upcoming Spelling Bee, Clubs and the Discovery Garden.
