We all knew the day would come. The trend bubble has finally burst. And with it, the pouty lips and perky implants that defined the aesthetics of an entire generation deflated. Like it or not, the great cosmetic undoing has arrived. And to think, I was just getting good at overlining my lips! But as senior staff writer Marisa Meltzer reports in the March issue of Vanity Fair, “Med spas, dermatologists, and plastic surgeons are reporting that the pillowy, plumped-up look of the past decade is suddenly passé.” I guess beauty really is pain.
