I turned 35 today.

And over the last 8 years, I’ve launched 8 businesses.

Marketing agencies.
Coaching businesses.
Digital products.
A diamond business.
An ebike shop.
And now I’m building multiple software companies this year.

Some made money quickly.
Some flopped.
Some nearly broke me.
All of them taught me something.

If I could go back to the slightly clueless version of me in 2018, this is what I’d tell her to get to where I am faster.

1️⃣ Treat your time like it’s gold.

Most people would instantly fix their revenue problem if they realised they had a problem with focus.

We waste so much time:

• Scrolling
• Task hopping
• Replying to emails all day
• “Researching” instead of executing
• Feeling overwhelmed and doing nothing

Analyse your time honestly. Then become protective of it.

This doesn’t mean working 24/7. In fact, you’ll probably work less because when you’re focused, you actually get things done and can switch off guilt free.

2️⃣ Do the mindset work… but don’t hide in it.

The fastest way to break a limiting belief isn’t writing 1,000 affirmations.

It’s doing the opposite of the belief.

Scared to raise your prices? Raise them.
Scared to post? Post.
Scared to pitch? Pitch.

Action rewires your brain faster than journalling ever will.

3️⃣ Stop letting “failure” become your identity.

When something doesn’t work, it’s not proof you’re bad at business.

It’s just proof that that particular method didn’t work.

Bring an analytical mind to business, not an emotional one.

Instead of:
​“Maybe I’m not cut out for this.”

Try:
​“What specifically didn’t work here and how can I adjust it?”

That shift alone changes everything.

4️⃣ Focus on one thing at a time.

Yes, I’ve launched a lot of businesses.

But my biggest leaps happened when I stopped trying to grow 5 things at once.

Now I focus on:

• Getting one offer stable
• Building one system properly
• Letting it run
• Then moving onto the next thing

Trying to launch 6 things at once just dilutes your energy.

5️⃣ Burnout usually comes from working on the wrong things.

It’s not always about working too much.

It’s about working too much on:

• Things you don’t enjoy
• Things you shouldn’t be doing
• Things you could delegate

There is a 99% chance you could hand off more than you currently are.

Your zone of genius is not admin.

6️⃣ The people around you matter more than you think.

Your environment is either stretching you or shrinking you.

Friends.
Partners.
Family.
Business circles.

Choose wisely who gets access to your energy.

7️⃣ Look after your body like it’s the engine of your business.

Without a healthy body and mind, your business will burn into the ground.

You are not a slave to your business.

You are the king or queen of it.

Treat yourself like it.

There is never a “perfect” time.

There will always be hurdles.

That doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.

It means you’re growing.

And whatever you do…

Build a rich life alongside your rich business.

Not after it.
