10x faster & self-correcting: Feb 2026 update
If you’ve been using the agent recently, you’ll notice it feels different.
This Feb update focuses on two things: speed and correctness.
What’s new (quick version)
-
Self-checking while it works: continuous ERC/DRC checks to catch missing connections, floating pins, and rule violations earlier.
-
More self-correcting: it can adjust course step-by-step instead of following a rigid plan.
-
Up to 10x faster: component placement, routing, and verification run in parallel, so bigger prompts finish way sooner.
One thing to try
Run a prompt you’ve used before and compare:
- “Design a buck converter for 12V → 5V @ 3A”
- “Replace U2 with a cheaper in-stock alternative and keep the same footprint”
- “Find why this power net fails ERC and fix it”
