EDITOR'S NOTE

2025 was the year that I got back into shopping at Free People after a multiyear hiatus. One of my go-to sweaters this winter is from the nostalgic brand, and it’s garnered way more compliments than I expected. With spring a little over a month away, I’m eyeing these pieces to get myself ready:

• A printed mini dress for daytime events.

• A striped balloon jacket that’ll elevate jeans and a white tee.

• Some cotton-linen pull-on pants for the days I don’t feel like wearing jeans.

• A pair of loose barrel pants with spacious pockets.
