A recent study using Lumosity data explored an age-old question: what does formal education mean for how we think? Researchers compared nearly 200,000 people’s performance on Lumosity’s NeuroCognitive Performance Test, finding that differences in education showed up in how people performed on certain cognitive tasks—even years after graduation.

The study also found something encouraging: those who trained regularly with Lumosity made meaningful gains, no matter their education level.
