Hey Bob, I've been learning languages for over 20 years now. Eight of them, at last count. And if you asked me to start again from scratch? I wouldn't do it the same way. Not even close. See… There's a lot I wish I'd known back when I was stumbling through textbooks in that Paris hostel. Or panicking my way through conversations in Madrid. (Trust me, those stories don't get less embarrassing with time.) The thing is… Most of what people tell you about learning a language is backwards. The apps. The grammar drills. The "repeat after me" nonsense. It's not that they're useless. It's that there's a better order to do things. A smarter path. One that doesn't leave you five years in, still unable to hold a real conversation. So I made a video about how I would learn Spanish if I had to start over.
