Several key girls basketball conference games took place Thursday night, highlighted by Naperville Central’s 75-60 win over Waubonsie Valley. In a matchup of two of the Daily Herald’s top-ranked teams, it was Trinity Jones scoring 32 points to help the No. 3 Redhawks hand the No. 1 Warriors their first loss of the season.
Lake Park edged St. Charles North to move to 7-0 in the DuKane Conference.
Fremd and Hersey stay tied with Prospect for the lead in the MSL East.
Libertyville’s Lily Fisher reached 1,000 points in style.
