Her first post was teaching typing and business machines at Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas-which became the focal point of national attention as the federal government began to enforce mandatory desegration in the US. She taught two of the brave "Little Rock Nine"

Burton (Burt) Jensen, age 86, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2026. He was born on April 29, 1939 in Kansas City, MO. He married Sally Neville on August 12, 1961. He had three children, Andrew, Jeffrey (Nancy), and Katie Marr (Joe). Services will be on January 31 at First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights.
