An armed carjacking suspect out of Arapahoe County was shot by Douglas County deputies after leading law enforcement on a chase around Highlands Ranch, according to the sheriff’s office.

Interstate 70 remained closed Tuesday morning along Glenwood Canyon as law enforcement searched for a potentially armed Denver-area homicide suspect, according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.
