We all start the New Year with high hopes for healthier habits, but it can be hard to know where to begin – let alone stick with it.

That’s why we kick-started 2026 with a special 10-day New Year guide full of simple diet swaps and workouts to make it easier.

We had fitness husband and wife Tahlia and Michael Grogan take us through a range of exercises that can be done at home without any equipment.

Tahlia is a pilates instructor and had some great moves to try. Michael is a personal trainer and had these useful tips to bullet-proof the knees.

You can also see an eight minute workout here or download this special poster to stick on your fridge to stay motivated.

As part of the 10-day guide, we also had useful advice from a range of top dietitians. This included tips on how to lose those excess kilos from the festive season in a healthy and sustainable way.

There was also this piece on how to beat sugar cravings or some simple drink swaps that are better for us but still fun.

If there’s anything you would like us to cover this year, please get in touch at health@news.com.au.

Have a great week.
