1.10.26 | 💛 How I'm welcoming a year of renewalThe everyday prayers that align my life, a bucket list calendar, the top songs that our readers have on repeat, and an invitation to our next virtual meet-up on intention setting.Welcome to The Weekend Edit, a Saturday ritual from The Good Trade featuring our top 10 reads of the week and a weekend note from our co-founder, or one of out editors. Happy weekend! My heart goes out to each and every one of us at the start of the year. Be gentle with yourself. Be hopeful. Trust life, trust yourself. What’s meant to be will be. A few weeks ago in Los Angeles, the sky opened up and offered us days and days of rain. The irony of this timing is not lost on anyone who lives here. Over the years, she’s shared striking specifics about my life, from the timing of a forthcoming pregnancy to the financial details surrounding a business sale. But more meaningful than any prediction, she has taught me over the years simple daily prayers. In that season of loss and clearing, she invited me to write a list of what I was willing to let go of, and what I was willing to call in. These are the prayers that came to me, ones I spoke out loud every day through the rest of 2025:...
