The Chinese city of Hangzhou is putting the latest in AI-powered robotics to use in the form of the Hangxing No. 1- a nearly six-foot-tall humanoid robot meant to direct pedestrian traffic at a major intersection. Equipped with a badge and whistle, the robot is synced with the traffic signal system to assist human offers with traffic guidance.
