Stephanie Frances Schoenberg, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on December 7, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born in St. Mary's, Pennsylvania, to Austrian immigrant parents, she grew up in a close family. As an adult, she lived and worked in New York and then Chicago, where she met her husband, Frank Schoenberg. Stephanie devoted her life to raising her three children in Mt. Prospect, where she volunteered in many youth-oriented organizations and lived there for 50 years

Jim was a Korean War Veteran. He completed Air Force Pilot school training from 1957 through 1959 in TX and AZ. He graduated from the University of Iowa in 1960 with a B.S. in Engineering. From 1960 through 1966, he was employed by Johnson Controls as a Sales Engineer in Chicago and Honeywell as a Tech Rep in Montreal, Brussels and Minneapolis. However, the majority of his career, from 1966 through 1991, he was an American Airlines Pilot. Based out of O'Hare, he flew the Convair 990 (engineer), BAC 1-11, B707, B727, DC-10 and B767, both domestic and international
