Landfall Press, founded more than five decades ago by master printer Jack Lemon, is legendary for innovation, exacting standards of quality, and for helping artists achieve things they never thought possible in lithography. First to publish lithographs by Kara Walker and Chuck Close, first to help Christo and Jean Claude make lithographs that included “wrapped” objects in relief in their prints, major museums have organized Landfall Press print exhibitions and museum giants such as The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Smithsonian, Art Institute of Chicago, all proudly hold multiple Landfall prints in their collections.

Sloan's interest in reflective surfaces began with the old, chrome toaster on her kitchen counter. From this grew a passion and fascination with reflection, texture, pattern, and distortion that has sustained her practice ever since.
