Earlier today, Natalie asked me, “What is your biggest struggle in business right now?”

I answered honestly,
“It’s not getting to work as much as I want to.”
I LOVE my work.
But right now, I am pretty much a full-time mama.

|
A lot of my life looks like denying what I want to do in the short term (work 80 hours a week) for what I want in the long term (giving Ellie a childhood where her mama was present).
I’d LOVE to work hours and hours, completely uninterrupted.
Instead, I am potty-training a 3-year-old.

|
But here’s the thing.
I WANT to be that present mama.
So yes, it is a sacrifice.
I don’t think I will ever regret it, though.
