Pebble Maker Announces Index 01, a Smart-ish Ring for Under $100

Pebble’s revived hardware team has introduced the Index 01, a minimalist smart ring focused on capturing voice notes and simple commands. The ring skips health tracking and frequent charging, using a long-lasting battery and local, privacy-focused processing. Cool. But it's an explicitly disposable product, which is less cool. Will replacing the battery actually be impossible? We'll dig in.
