Quebec’s family doctors have reached an agreement in principle with the province.
The government and the Fédération des médecins omnipraticiens du Québec announced the news Thursday, though neither would reveal the contents of the deal. The federation says it will first share those details with its members.
The deal will see the government suspend the application of Bill 2 — the legislation used to impose on doctors a pay model based on a system of incentives — until Feb. 28, 2026.
