Meal planning doesn’t have to be hard

“What’s for dinner?”

How do you feel when you see that question?

Stress? Panic? A sudden temptation to stop at McDonald’s on the way home?

I get it! That was me for years! I mean, I literally lived a quarter mile from McDonald’s, which meant we were stopping there A TON.

Around 2021 I discovered the power of meal planning, and it completely changed my life.

No more running to the store 3x a week, no more throwing out rotten vegetables, and most importantly, no more 4–5 p.m. panic hour.

I know what you’re thinking, “I tried it. I can’t do it. It’s too hard.”

But listen, it doesn’t have to be! Just look at my meal plan this week:

Tacos….Hot dogs…. Subs…. Pretty simple stuff right?

That’s because I planned ahead. I knew this weekend was going to be especially busy, so I made sure to choose very simple meals.

Here’s the thing: to be successful with meal planning, you’ve got to be realistic. I know you want to make Prosciutto-wrapped chicken with a balsamic reduction, but some nights all you really have time for is chicken nuggets with a side of BBQ sauce… and that’s okay!

Don’t put expectations on yourself that you can’t live up to this week. Be realistic with what you can handle!

I have a unique meal-planning system that I teach on YouTube, and it’s all about making the most out of your leftovers. Because honestly, aren’t you tired of cooking meals just to throw the leftovers out 4 days later?

With my system, you’ll never have to worry about that again!
