ON HUMAN RIGHTS DAY, HELP PROTECT THOSE IN NEED >>

It’s hard to believe —

People in Sudan are experiencing the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. Mass killings of more than 150,000 people are so brutal that reports show the bloodshed can be seen from space.

How is it possible that the world is barely paying attention?

Amnesty International is documenting unimaginable violence — including widespread violence against civilians, ethnically targeted killings and sexual violence against women and girls, which amount to war crimes and possible other crimes under international law. By publishing our findings and forcing leaders to pay attention, we can end this suffering.

But our emergency response requires additional resources. That’s why we’ve set a goal of bringing together 1,000 people to make a donation to Amnesty International today — and we’re just 315 people away. Can you pitch in?

We’re counting on you to power Amnesty's crucial investigations and advocacy to demand urgent action.

Right now, your donation will be matched five times thanks to a special matching offer. In honor of Human Rights Day, will you make 5X the impact to shine a light on violations and help save lives?

Human Rights Day 5X Match

We can’t look away: Families are trapped in a spiral of devastating violence. As you read this, 1 in 2 children in Sudan are in urgent need of humanitarian aid.1 And more than 15 million people have been forced to flee their homes… with no safe alternative.

On a day like today, it’s especially heartbreaking to see this inhumanity take place without a substantial response from the U.S. or the international community.

No adequate response as people are being killed inside their homes, as families starve, as women are violently assaulted.

In an unimaginable spike of violence occurring over one week in November, more than 460 patients and healthcare workers were killed when Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces attacked a hospital in El Fasher. This should have been a safe space for mothers and newborns, but instead, it was a site of atrocity.

We must do more to end the suffering.

Today, I hope you choose to make a difference with a charitable donation that goes 5X as far. Your support will be put to work immediately to help protect people in Sudan and around the world.

With your 5X-matched gift for Human Rights Day, we can continue to:

✍️ Document, investigate, the publicize atrocities to shed light on the truth, so that this crisis receives widespread global attention and action
